DMCA & takedown policy
How to request removal of infringing content — and what happens after you do.

Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe content on certifiedwaterlabs.com infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice through the contact form. So we can act on it, include the elements of a notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The URL(s) on this site where the allegedly infringing material appears.
- Your name, email address, and (if available) phone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name in the message qualifies).
What we do with a valid notice
We review takedown notices promptly. Where a notice is complete and credible, we remove or disable access to the identified material and note the removal. Incomplete notices get a reply asking for the missing elements. Knowingly false claims can carry legal liability for the sender under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice through the same contact form with the removed URL, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was mistaken, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court. We may restore the material if the original claimant does not pursue the matter.
Provider listing removals (not copyright)
If you are a provider and want facts about your business corrected or your listing removed, that is not a DMCA matter — just use the contact form and identify your listing. Listing data comes from public sources, and we honor reasonable correction and opt-out requests.
Repeat infringers
Accounts or submitters who repeatedly provide infringing material are blocked.
